Go back to blog 8 minutes

Spring break in Quebec is synonymous with winter fun between family and friends. We are so lucky to live in a province where mountains are as numerous as potholes! We have compiled the best outings and excursions from Jay Peak to Tremblant to Fernie so you can have the best of times with your spring break activities. Have a wonderful trip!

Spring break activities for everyone

Waterpark and ski at Jay Peak

With its 81 ski slopes, 9 ski lifts, and more than 80 kilometers of trails, Jay Peak, in Vermont, is one of the most beautiful mountains to ski in Eastern North America. There are many glade trails, a learning area zone, and a ski/snow park: fun for everyone in the family. There are also trails for all levels, so neither beginners nor novices skiers will have time to get bored. PowSki offers you 25% off your lift ticket so you can make sure to take full advantage of this beautiful mountain. Visit the Jay Peak rebate page on our website to learn more.

If the weather is not ideal for skiing, or your little ones are cold and tired after many hours spent outside, the indoor waterpark at the Jay Peak resort is the ideal place to have some family fun. This waterpark is a place where you can work on your surfing skills at the Double Barrel Flowrider, slide down the very vertiginous slide called “The Drop”, you can float around in a tube in the “Big River” that goes around the whole perimeter of the waterpark, there is a kid’s zone, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, and many more water activities. You can spend your whole day there!

As one of our spring break activities, visiting the Mont Saint-Anne ski station is an excellent way to take pleasure in the most of what winter has to offer: skiing. There are slopes for all types of skiers: 21% of the slopes are for beginners, 46% of the slopes are for intermediate skiers, and 33% of the slopes are for skilled and novice skiers. You can savour a delicious meal and drink at the snack bar on top of the mountain while looking out at the breathtaking view of the Saint Lawrence River.

If you’re a member of PowSki, you receive a rebate of 15% at the Mont Sainte-Anne cottages located at the foot of the slopes of the Mont Saint-Anne ski resort (200 meters away from the gondola lifts, and 5 minutes away from downtown Sainte-Anne). The Mont Saint-Anne cottages are 30 minutes away from Québec City’s downtown area, and near the superb Charlevoix region. The cottages feature 2 to 3 bathrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, satellite television, a dishwasher, a washer/dryer, linens, parking, fireplace in the living room, free WIFI, and many more features.
